    Electroduino-mechanical bionics hand

Landmines continue to be a huge cost and hazard in over 58 countries, with one de-miner killed for every 5000 successfully removed landmines. It was this that motivated Jack Chapman to develop the Electroduino Mechanical Bionic Hand (EMBH), an inexpensive remotely controlled robotic hand that can accurately and effectively detect and disarm landmines without putting human lives at risk.

The activity of GluteGuard and GlutenEase tablets in various conditions

Cassandra Dods understands the potentially harmful impacts of a Coeliac accidentally ingesting gluten while eating out – having experienced it many times.  This led to her investigating the efficacy of gluten digesting supplements so others who are Coeliac could enjoy dining with friends without fear. She tested two gluten digestive supplements, GluteGuard and GlutenEase, and simulated the human digestive system to see how much of the gluten had digested into harmless proteins.

B.M.G Brushless Motor Generator

Ashley Cain was trying to make his own drone from scratch and wanted to increase the battery life so he developed the Brushless Motor Generator. In a typical brushless motor, all the energy that is consumed is wasted but his motor has a secondary generator component that harvests some of the wasted energy. This increases travel distances for the same amount of fuel which when used on a large scale can make vehicle fleets more efficient.
