Anne has been able to create a rich and diverse teaching environment at her school where students are actively involved in their own learning.
She runs an extensive environmental program and has published work, which is now being used by a large number of schools. She conducts a science fair to promote science within her school and also has a very strong commitment to science education in the broader community.

Ian Anderson
Forrestfield Senior High School, WA
Ian has sucessfully developed environmental science resource materials for a large number of schools in Western Australia and the flow on effect has been an increase in expertise of teachers delivering environmental management in their science classes.
Ian has been innovative in the way he has linked the curriculum to industry, involving companies, the EPA, Science Teachers' Association of Western Australia and Curtin University in the development and implementation of the program.

Brian, Greg, Ian and Wayne have done a remarkable job in developing Robocup Junior into an international competition. They have inspired not only their own students but also students from around Australia to take an active interest in robotics.
They have successfully been able to draw in resources to promote robotics in schools and by so doing have offered opportunities to students that would otherwise not have existed.
